This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1966 Leo Penn film titled A Man Called Adam. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1966 U.S. release and is numbered 66/238. The poster is folded into eighths. Folding of posters was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. This rare poster remains in FAIR condition with some bends and creases in its surface, tack holes in its corner areas, as well as areas of separation in its original studio folds and other tears that have been mended on the poster's backside by a previous owner using various types of tape, thankfully none of which have had their acid leach through to the front. The poster has writing on its backside that has not bled through to the front, and has a chunk of its upper left corner missing. We have mended other tears using acid-free archival tape to prevent further tearing or separation. The poster features the film's stars; Sammy Davis Jr., Louis Armstrong, Mel Torme, Cicely Tyson, Lola Falana, Peter Lawford, Michael Lipton, and Frank Sinatra Jr.
The poster will be shipped folded and flat to better protect it.
