This is an original, 27" X 41" folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1980 Paul Schrader film titled American Gigolo. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1980 U.S. release and is numbered 800004. The poster is folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in VERY GOOD condition with wear to its original folds, and some minor bends in its surface here and there. We have reinforced the fold intersections on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape to provide the wear from increasing in those vulnerable areas. The poster features the film's star, Richard Gere.
