Asia poster: Astra vintage promo album flat (1985)
This is a vintage, approximately 12" X 12" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that serve as posters and have traditionally been sent to record stores to promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This vintage flat is single-sided and is advertising the release of the 1985 Asia LP entitled Astra. The flat remains in FAIR to GOOD condition with staple hole damage in its corner areas, small areas of paper loss and tearing due to the staple damage, and edge corner wear. We have mended one area with tearing on the flat's backside using acid-free archival tape to prevent further wear.
