David Bowie poster: Ziggy Stardust vintage gatefold LP/Album flat
This is a vintage, approximately 24 3/4" X 12 1/4" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that have traditionally been sent to record stores to serve as posters that promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This flat is a single-sided, gatefold-style and is advertising the 1990 Rykodisc re-issue of David Bowie's classic 1972 LP entitled The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. The flat remains in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition with minor wear to its corner areas and a fold down the center. The flat is unique in that it is folded in half and features the lyrics from each of the songs included on the original version of the album. Also, the flat not only features images of David Bowie, but also features the so-called "Spiders from Mars," Mick Ronson, Trevor Bolder, and Mick Woodmansey.
