Empire of the Sun movie poster [1987, Steven Spielberg] 27x40
This is an original, single-sided, 27" X 40" theatrical one-sheet movie poster for the 1987 Steven Spielberg film titled Empire of the Sun. This poster was issued to U.S. movie theatres upon the film's 1987 release. The poster is folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s, so this poster was folded at a slightly later time, most likely by the theatre that received it due to the previous tradition of folding posters in the industry. Other than having been folded, the poster remains in GOOD condition with some bends and creases in its surface, pinholes in its corner areas, and several small tears in its edges that we have mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape to prevent further tearing.
