Gold movie poster (1974) [Roger Moore, Susannah York) 27x41 original

This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1974 adventure film Gold. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1974 U.S. release and is numbered 74/281. The poster is folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in GOOD condition with a 3 1/2" tear in a side edge that a previous owner mended on the poster's backside with scotch tape. We have also mended several other tiny tears in its edges and one pinhole-sized separation point in a centerfold on the poster's backside using acid-free archival tape. The poster also has some other bends and minor creases, especially around its studio fold lines. Overall, the poster will present very nicely. The poster features illustrations of the film's stars; Roger Moore, Susannah York, Ray Milland, Bradford Dillman, and Simon Sabela.
