Grateful Dead poster: In the Dark vintage album flat (1987)
This is a vintage, approximately 12 1/4" X 12 1/4" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that have traditionally been sent to record stores to serve as posters to promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This flat is double-sided and is advertising the release of the 1987 Grateful Dead LP entitled In the Dark. The flat remains in FAIR condition with mild edge and corner wear, small creases and indentation lines in its surface, and paper loss on the flat's backside from having been taped up for display at some point in its past. Despite the condition issues, the front side should display very nicely.
