Hell's Horizon movie poster [John Ireland, Marla English] 1955, 27x41
This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the classic 1955 Korean War film from director Tom Gries entitled Hell's Horizon. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1955 U.S. release and is numbered 55/398. The poster was originally folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s, but this poster has light, additional fold lines running vertically between its vertical centerfold and its side edges, meaning it was folded an extra time at some point in its past. Please note that these extra folds are not easy to see in our image, but are a bit more visible when seen in person. The poster remains in GOOD condition with separation having occurred along some of its original centerfolds that has been mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape to prevent further wear. Small tears in its edges have also been mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape to prevent the tears from growing larger. The poster has some writing on its backside that does not bleed through or affect the front-side image. The poster features illusttrations of the film's stars, John Ireland, Marla English, Bill Williams, Hugh Beaumont, and Chet Baker.
