Ian Gomm poster: Gomm With the Wind vintage album flat (1979)
This is a vintage, approximately 12" X 12" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that serve as posters and have traditionally been sent to record stores to promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This flat is single-sided and is advertising the release of the 1979 Ian Gomm LP entitled Gomm With the Wind. The flat remains in FAIR condition with minor wear. However, the flat appears to have been trimmed down from a slightly larger size. It was probably originally 12 3/8" X 12 3/8" in size, so a total of 3/8 inches was trimmed from its edges. The trimmed area seems to have been a dark border, and remnant of this dark border can be seen along the top and left edges.
