John Wayne poster (18x24) Republic Classic movies collection 1986
This is a rare, original, 18" X 24" poster for the 1986 video release of John Wayne's classic Republic Pictures films. The poster reads "Surround Yourself With John Wayne Classics" and is advertising the videocassette release of 13 John Wayne films, including Dark Command, Lady From Louisiana, Flying Tigers, The Fighting Kentuckian, The Fighting Seabees, Flame of Barbary Coast, War of the Wildcats, Three Faces West, Wheel of Fortune, Wake of the Red Witch, In Old California, Lady for a Night, and Dakota. The poster was folded into somewhat uneven fourths by the video store that received it. A common practice at the time for studios, movie theatres and video stores was to fold posters for storage purposes. The poster may have some other small areas of wear and creasing, but remains in VERY GOOD condition besides the folds. The poster will be shipped folded and flat.
