Kim movie poster [1950, Errol Flynn] 1962 re-issue 27x41

This is an original, 27" X 41" folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1962 theatrical re-issue of director Victor Saville's classic 1950 film entitled Kim. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1962 U.S. re-release and is numbered R-62/209. The poster is folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in VERY GOOD condition with several small, minor creases in its surface, especially near its corners. The backside of the poster also had four pieces of masking tape placed on its backside in each of its corners, and as is often the case, the acids from that tape began to stain the poster. This staining can be seen on its frontside in its corner areas, but not too bad as of yet. We have removed the masking tape to prevent further bleeding, and then placed acid-free archival tape over any adhesive residue left behind to prevent the folded poster sticking to itself. The poster features illustrations of the film's stars, including Errol Flynn, Dean Stockwell, and Laurette Luez.
