This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the classic 1957 French film from director Julien Duvivier entitled Lovers of Paris. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1958 U.S. release. The poster was originally folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in FAIR to GOOD condition with a chunk missing out of its upper left side, some bending/creasing in the poster's surface and tack holes in its corner areas. The poster also seems as if it has an extra set of vertical fold marks on either side, as if it was folded one extra time in its past. The poster features Gerard Philipe and Dany Carrel.
