My Darling Clementine movie poster [Henry Fonda] 1953 re-issue 27x41

This is an original, 27" X 41" folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1953 theatrical re-issue of director John Ford's classic 1946 western entitled My Darling Clementine. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1953 U.S. re-release and is numbered R53-153. The poster is folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in GOOD condition for its age with some tears in its surface that have been mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape tape. The longest of these tears is 3 1/2" in length and runs downward from the top edge. The other tears are much smaller. The poster also has writing and remnants of scotch tape on its backside that do not show through the front, as well as pinholes in the corners, and some chipping in the center fold line. The poster features illustrations of the film's stars, Henry Fonda, Linda Darnell, and Victor Mature.
