Popeye y Sus Amigos: Festival of La Risa poster (1964) 27x40 original
This is an original, approximately 27" X 40" folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1964 animated film collection entitled Popeye y Sus Amigos (Popeye and His Friends). This rare Paramount Pictures poster was printed in Barcelona, Spain and advertises a series of Popeye films that were playing at the Festival of La Risa (Festival of Laughter) in 1964. The poster is folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster is very thin and fragile and remains in FAIR condition. The poster has a torn out area along one of the poster's folds, plus other smaller tears and holes. We have mended a few of the smaller tears where possible on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape.
