Second Fiddle to a Steel Guitar movie poster (1965) original 27x41
This is an original, 27" X 41" folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1965 country music comedy entitled Second Fiddle to a Steel Guitar. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1965 U.S. release and is numbered 65/241. The poster was folded into eighths by the studio, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in GOOD condition with wear to its original folds including a bit of splitting that has been mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape. The poster also has some pin holes in it and a previous owner placed a few small pieces of scotch tape on its backside. The poster features Arnold Stang, Huntz Hall and Leo Gorcey from The Bowery Boys (in their final film and poster appearance together), Kitty Wells, Webb Pierce, Lefty Frizzell, Carl and Pearl Butler, Bill Monroe, Del Reeves, George Hamilton IV, Faron Young, Minnie Pearl, Sonny James, Little Jimmy Dickens, Johnny Wright, Homer and Jethro, and Pamela Hayes.
