This is a vintage, approximately 12" X 12" (12" X 23 1/2" when open) promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that have traditionally been sent to record stores to serve as posters to promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This flat is a double-sided, gatefold-style flat that opens up along its perforated edge to reveal another panel that nearly doubles its vertical length. The flat is advertising the 2005 Sly and the Family Stone LP titled Different Strokes by Different Folks. The flat remains in VERY GOOD condition with several small, light bends/creases in its surface.
