Survivor poster: Eye of the Tiger vintage promo album flat (1982)
This is a vintage, approximately 12 1/4" X 12 1/4" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that have traditionally been sent to record stores to serve as posters to promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This flat is single-sided and is advertising the release of the 1982 Survivor LP entitled Eye of the Tiger. The flat remains in GOOD condition with areas in its center and upper right corner that appears worn with small spots of paper loss, perhaps from having a piece of tape once placed there. The spots of paper loss are not as noticeable as they might be on another flat because of the design of this flat. The flat also has corner wear and a small crease near its bottom left corner.
