This is a vintage, approximately 12 3/8" X 12 3/8" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that have traditionally been sent to record stores to serve as posters that promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This flat is single-sided and is advertising the release of the 1980 LP by the The B-52's entitled Wild Planet. The flat remains in FAIR to GOOD condition with small areas of paper loss in the top center, several small creases and thin indentation lines in its surface, corner wear, and tape on the flat's blank backside from having been hung for display at some point in its past.
