This is a vintage, approximately 12 3/8" X 12 3/8" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that have traditionally been sent to record stores to serve as posters that promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This flat is single-sided and is advertising the release of the 1981 LP by The Cars entitled Shake It Up. The flat remains in GOOD condition with corner wear, as well as remnants of scotch tape and paper loss on its blank backside from having been hung for display at some point in its past.
