The Day of the Locust movie poster [Karen Black] 27x41 original 1975

This is an original, 27" X 41" folded one-sheet teaser movie poster for the 1975 John Schlesinger film The Day of the Locust. This poster was issued to American movie theatres to advertise the film's 1979 U.S. theatrical release and is numbered 75/68. The poster is folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s, though these folds are a bit uneven. The poster remains in VERY GOOD condition with minor wear to its folds, including a bit of separation at its centerfold that was mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape. The poster features the film's star, Karen Black.
