The Hunchback of Notre Dame 8-inch action figure (MEGO)
This is an 8" action figure of The Hunchback of Notre Dame from Wave 15 of MEGO action figures. The figure was produced by MEGO Corp. and remains new and sealed in its original NEAR MINT packaging. The figure seems to be based upon the Hunchback as played by Charles Laughton, who is featured on the front and back card art, in the 1939 RKO Pictures film The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The card lists this as part of the Universal Monsters collection, but the 1939 Charles Laughton version of the film was not produced by Universal.
