This is a vintage, approximately 12 3/8" X 12 3/8" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that have traditionally been sent to record stores to serve as posters to promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This flat is double-sided and is advertising the release of the 1989 The Jesus and Mary Chain LP entitled Automatic. The flat remains in FAIR condition with two vertical creases running the entire length of the flat a little less than an inch from each side edge. The flat also has a tack hole near its bottom edge and paper loss and scotch tape still on its backside.
