This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1965 Sydney Pollack film entitled The Slender Thread. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1965 U.S. release. The poster is folded into somewhat uneven eighths. Folding of posters was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in GOOD condition with pin holes near its corners, a light fold running parallel with the bottom edge of the poster about 2 1/2 inches from the bottom, and some minor separation in its original studio folds that has been mended on the poster's backside using acid-free archival tape. The poster features Sidney Poitier, Anne Bancroft, and Telly Savales.
The poster will be shipped folded and flat to better protect it.
