This is a vintage, approximately 12 3/8" X 12 3/8" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that serve as posters and have traditionally been sent to record stores to promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This flat is single-sided and is advertising the 1981 release of The Whispers LP entitled This Kind of Lovin'. The flat remains in FAIR condition with heavy creasing in one area, a puncture-type tear near that creasing that has been mended on the flat's backside with acid-free archival tape, minor edge and corner wear, tack holes in its corners, and other mild wear.
