Uncle Tom's Cabin movie poster (1958 reissue of 1927 film) 27x41
This is an original, 27" X 41" folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1958 theatrical reissue of the 1927 silent film version of the Harriet Beacher Stowe novel Uncle Tom's Cabin. This poster was issued to movie theatres upon the film's 1958 U.S. re-release. The poster is folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in GOOD condition with some minor tearing to its original folds and edges that was mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape. The poster also has small pieces missing from two corners and from one side at the horizontal center fold. The poster features Raymond Massey, who supplied newly included narration to the silent film for its 1958 re-release. Our image is a picture of the actual poster you will receive.
