Van Halen poster: Women and Children First vintage album flat (1980)
This is a vintage, approximately 12 3/8" X 12 3/8" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that serve as posters and have traditionally been sent to record stores to promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This vintage flat is single-sided and is advertising the release of the 1980 Van Halen LP entitled Women and Children First. The flat remains in FAIR condition with staple hole damage in its corner areas, a long vertical crease running down its right side, other lesser creases and small indentation marks, and corner and edge wear. Clearly this rare album flat was displayed at some point in its past and the wear and tear shows this.
