Zatoichi Meets Yojimbo movie poster (Toshiro Mifune) original 20x28.5

This is an original, folded 20" X 28.5" one-sheet movie poster for the 1970 Japanese film from director Kihachi Okamoto entitled Zatoichi Meets Yojimbo. The poster was folded into fourths. Movie posters were often folded by the studios or the movie theaters up until the late 1980s for storage purposes. The poster is in its original Japanese. The poster remains in FAIR to GOOD condition with most of the conditional issues occurring on the outer edges anc corners of the poster, with the main image intact. The poster has a missing upper corner, another chip or two missing from its edges, a previous owner used scotch and masking tape to mend some tears, and there is paper loss on the edges and corners from someone having tried to remove some of that tape. We have mended other small tears on the poster's backside using acid-free archival tape. The poster also has some extra fold lines that are lighter than its main folds. The poster features Toshiro Mifune as Yojimbo and Shintaro Katsu as Zatoichi.

The poster will be shipped folded and flat to better protect it.
