This is an original, folded, 28" X 22" half sheet movie poster for the 1957 Muriel Box film A Novel Affair. This poster was sent to movie theatres to promote the film's U.S. release. The poster was folded into fourths, as studios and movie theatres often did prior to the late 1980s for easier shipping and storage. The poster remains in GOOD condition with wear to its bottom edge. The poster also has several small tears in its edges that were mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape. The poster also has a small spot of staining along its bottom edge. The poster features illustrations of the film's stars, Ralph Richardson and Margaret Leighton.
The poster will be shipped folded and flat to better protect it.
