Back to the Future soundtrack poster: vintage album flat (1985)
This is a vintage, approximately 12 3/8" X 12 3/8" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that serve as posters and have traditionally been sent to record stores to promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This flat is single-sided and is advertising the release of the Motion Picture Soundtrack LP for the 1985 film Back to the Future. The flat remains in FAIR condition with two tears in its top edge measuring between 1 inch and 1 1/2 inches each. These tears have been mended on the flat's backside with acid-free, archival tape to preven further tearing. The flat also has wear to its corners, some two light creases in its surface. The flat features the film's star Michael J. Fox.
