This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded Style B one-sheet movie poster for the 1973 U.S. release of the classic 1952 Charles Chaplin film titled Limelight. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1973 U.S. release and is numbered 72/309. The poster was originally folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in VERY GOOD condition with a few small, light bends/creases in its surface that are very minor. The poster features the film's star, Charlie Chaplin. The poster also calls attention to Chaplin's winning the Academy Award for Best Original Dramatic Score in 1972, which is amazingly the only competitive Oscar that Chaplin ever won.
