Bruce Springsteen poster: The River vintage Album flat (staple damage)
This is a vintage, approximately 12 1/4" X 12 1/4" promotional item known as an LP or Album Flat. Flats are thin pieces of cardstock that serve as posters and have traditionally been sent to record stores to promote an upcoming LP/CD by an artist. This vintage flat is single-sided and is advertising the release of the 1980 Bruce Springsteen LP entitled The River. The flat remains in FAIR to GOOD condition. The flat has a series of staple holes running vertically up each side of the flat, and its blank backside shows some minor yellowing from age. (The staple damage can be seen in the enlarged image of our photo.)
