This is an original, approximately 27'' X 40.5'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1962 Canadian film from director Donald Haldane entitled Drylanders. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1963 U.S. release. The poster was originally folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s, though this poster is folded slightly unevenly. The poster remains in FAIR to GOOD condition with a light set of extra folds running vertically between its vertical studio centerfold and its side edges, indicating that the poster had been folded an extra time at some point in its past. This extra set of folds is light and cannot be seen in our image, though it will be more visible in person. The studio folds have wear in some spots and there are small tears in the edges that have been mended on the poster's backside with acid-free tape to prevent further tearing. The poster also has staple holes in its corners, and damage from those staple holes includes a chunk of one corner area being missing in the top edge. Other small bends and creases also exist in its surface near its studio folds. One other corner might have a sliver missing from its edge. The poster also has a large piece of masking tape on its backside, but it's acids have not yet bled through to the front side image.
