This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1960 U.S. release of the classic 1956 French film version of Jules Verne's Michael Strogoff (originally released in France in 1956 under the title Michel Strogoff). This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's initial 1960 U.S. release. The poster was originally folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in VERY GOOD condition with tack holes in its corners and several small tears in its edges that we have mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape to prevent further tearing. The poster features illustrations of Curd Jurgens and Genevieve Page.
