High Anxiety movie poster [Mel Brooks] 27x41 original 1977

This is an original, 27" X 41" folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1977 Mel Brooks film titled High Anxiety. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1977 U.S. release and is numbered 770156. The poster is folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in GOOD condition with several small creases and bends in its surface. The poster has tiny pinpoints of separation in its centerfolds that we have mended on the poster's backside using acid-free archival tape to prevent further separation. The poster also has tack holes in its corner areas. A previous owner put masking tape on the backside of the poster in each of the corners. We have removed that masking tape, but unfortunately the acid from the masking tape had already leached through and lightly stained the front of the poster, as can be seen in our image. After removing the tape, we placed acid-free archival tape over those areas on the poster's backside. The poster features the film's director and star, Mel Brooks.
