This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the classic 1963 J. Lee Thompson film entitled Kings of the Sun. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's late-1963/early-1964 U.S. release and is numbered 64/8. The poster was originally folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in FAIR condition with chunks missing from its bottom corner areas, plus light water staining on the backside that has bled through to the front in the bottom portion and one side area of the poster. The poster also has scotch tape on its backside and tack holes in tis corners and mid sections. The poster also has several other small tears that we have mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape. Considering all of the damage listed, the poster will still present fairly nicely, with the main issue being the torn out bottom corners. The poster features illustrations of the film's stars; Yul Brynner and George Chakiris.
