This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the classic 1966 Billy Wilder film titled The Fortune Cookie. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1966 U.S. release and is numbered 66/378. The poster was originally folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in GOOD condition with a bit of wear to its folds, including several tiny areas of separation in those studio folds that we have mended on the poster's backside using acid-free archival tape to prevent further tearing. The poster also has two small areas of chipping in its edges, where a small portion of the edge is missing. One small puncture tear is also present where we have again used acid-free archival tape to mend it on the poster's backside The poster also has several small, light bends and creases in its surface. The poster features illustrations of the film's stars; Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.
