The Organization movie poster [Sidney Poitier] 27x41 original 1971

This is an original, 27" X 41" folded one-sheet movie poster for the 1971 film titled The Organization. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1971 U.S. release and is numbered 71/342. The poster is folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in FAIR condition with wear to its folds, including areas of separation in its fold lines that we have mended on the poster's backside using acid-free archival tape to prevent further separation and splitting. The poster also has several small stains in its top border area. The poster has creasing and bending in its surface. The poster features the film's star, Sidney Poitier as Police Lieutenant Virgil Tibbs.
