This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the classic 1950 Peter Godfrey film entitled The Great Jewel Robber. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1950 U.S. release and is numbered 50/443. The poster was originally folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s, but this poster has additional fold lines running vertically between its vertical centerfold and its side edges, indicating it was folded an extra time at some point in its past. Please note that these extra folds are not easy to see in our image, but are more visible when seen in person. The poster remains in GOOD condition with separation having occurred along some of its original studio folds that has been mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape. Small tears in its edges have also been mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape to prevent the tears from growing larger. The poster also has a bit of chipping in its studio folds, with a small piece missing at its centerfold in the top edge. The poster also has two areas of removed scotch tape on its back surface, and one on its front surface, all three near the poster's top edge. The poster features illustrations of the film's stars, David Brian and Marjorie Reynolds.
