This is an original, 27'' X 41'' folded one-sheet movie poster for the classic 1956 western film entitled The Peacemaker. This poster was issued to American movie theatres upon the film's 1956 U.S. release and is numbered 56/531. The poster was originally folded into eighths, which was standard procedure for theatrical one-sheets prior to the mid to late 1980s. The poster remains in VERY GOOD condition with some minor bends/creases in its surface near its folds and edges, a pin hole in one upper corner area, and several small tears that have been mended on the poster's backside with acid-free archival tape to prevent further tearing. The poster also has writing in black on its backside, but this does not show through the front unless placed in a back-lighted display. The poster features illustrations of the film's stars; James Mitchell and Rosemarie Bowe.
